A Bit About Me
I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist born and raised in Los Angeles. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychological and Brain Sciences from UC Santa Barbara and my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. Those years deepened my love for psychology and set me on the path to become a therapist.
I am passionate about working with people through the moments that shape them, supporting those who are navigating identity, self-esteem, anxiety, and the quiet pressure of trying to figure out who they are and where they belong. My goal is to create a space that feels genuine and safe, where you feel truly heard and never judged. Whether you are facing a life transition, struggling with self-doubt, or just feeling like something is off, I am here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and a whole lot of compassion.
How I Got Here
Honestly? It started on a jungle gym. I used to unpack my lunch box and hold informal "sessions" with the kids in my class, helping them work through arguments and feelings before anyone had given me a name for what I was doing. I just knew I was good at it and that it mattered. That instinct followed me everywhere, through college at UCSB where I fell in love with psychology and the psychology of mindfulness, through my time volunteering at the Koegel Autism Center, and into my work as a behavior technician supporting individuals on the autism spectrum. It was in those conversations, helping people navigate emotional regulation and personal goals, that I felt the pull toward therapy most clearly. I went on to earn my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and I have never looked back.
My Background
I have worked across elementary, middle, and high school settings, as well as in a counseling center in Woodland Hills, where I supported couples, families, and individuals across the lifespan. My work with children has focused on helping them understand and express their emotions, build emotional regulation skills, and feel more confident navigating school and family dynamics. With teens, I have supported them through the complexities of peer relationships, identity development, self-esteem, and the increasing pressures that come with adolescence. With adults and couples, I have worked around communication, relationship challenges, life transitions, and building deeper insight and connection.
In addition to individual and family work, I have facilitated process groups for high school aged girls, creating a supportive space to explore peer dynamics, strengthen emotional regulation, and build a more secure sense of self.
Over the years, I have had the honor of supporting people through grief, anxiety, identity exploration, self-worth challenges, relationship difficulties, depression, and so much in between. I approach this work with deep respect for each person’s story, recognizing the courage it takes to seek support and the resilience that already exists within them.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I am not in session, you can find me on a long walk with a matcha in hand or at the beach playing card games with friends. I love spending time at farmers markets, being outside, and finding small moments to slow down. At home, I enjoy baking, especially cardamom buns, and unwinding with a good book, a favorite podcast, or music. I also love going to concerts and being in spaces that feel energizing and connected.
I value connection, presence, and creating space for both joy and rest, and I bring that same warmth and ease into the therapy room, because good therapy should never feel like talking to a stranger.
Inside the Therapy Room
I show up warm, genuine, and present. People have described me as a comfort person, someone who feels less like a clinician behind a desk and more like a trusted person in your corner who brings both warmth and experience to the work. Sessions here are calm, honest, and a place to actually reset. You can show up as you are, be challenged without feeling pushed, and leave with something real. This work is deeply personal to me and I care for every person I work with as such. My goal is simple: to help you feel more like yourself.
